Pedralbes Monastery. Monestir de Pedralbes. The Pedralbes Monastery was founded in 1327 by Queen Elisenda de Montcada as a monastery for the nuns of the order of St Clare in Pedralbes. The setting for the church and monastery museum is a magnificient three-tier cloister, which provides access to the main rooms: the dormitory, the refectory, the chapterhouse, the abbey and the nun's cells, one of which contains Ferrer Bassa's splendid mural paintings.
